You guys are dumb. No one would work in a bike shop if it was all strick and work all the time then it would be just like any other lame ass job. People want to work in shops because its fun and we get to screw around a little while we work. Its not like we pull shenanigans al the time... everyone needs to blow off a little steam at work

Its designed so that the suspension will automatically adjust under the different stresses of different situations. Such as when the riding is applying a heavy load to the pedals the "majic link" will move back causing the riding position to become steeper and more like an XC bike. When the bike is decending and hitting bumps the "magic link" will move forward causing the bike to act more like a downhill bike.

Wut kinda helmet were u wearing.... most full face helmets are certified but the chin bar doesnt need to pass safety tests to reach the market. The only helmet that is fully certified even the chin bar is the Specialized Deviant helmet, a little more money but cheaper than dental

Its a single speed but he just didnt take the rear cog off... i took mine off my cowan because its much lighter and the chain wont have a tendancy to jump to a different gear... you can buy single speed kits with a single cog and spacers they're pretty cheap, but w/e floats ur boat, nice bike anyway!

An 06 manitou gold label Jumper 1, because its light, strong, short travel, and i dont have to convert my front wheel to a 20mm though axel jsut yet (not enough $ right now) it'll be great for both street riding and dj, just take a little gettin used to

those are the parts from my old cowan the, the old frame is at the factory, sent it in for warrenty, cracked it on the none drive side chain stay on the weld.

wolfgang, i kno that the rigid fork puts a lot of stress on the head tube, but i am currently using it for street riding so there realy is no need for a suspension fork at the time, however when i start dj again ill have my suspension fork back on the bike.
